* A portion of all proceeds from the day will be donated to Chicago Blackhawks Special Hockey,
a program dedicated to providing children and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play hockey

GRAND OPENING SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
11:20am - 12:50pm Free Public Skate*
12pm Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony with Officials from the Village of Gurnee
12:30pm - 2:30pm Free Caricature Drawings
1:00pm - 2:00pm Free Open Hockey for kids 11 and under*
2:10pm - 3:40pm Free Public Skate*
3:50pm - 4:50pm Free Open Hockey for kids 12 and over*
The BTE Hockey training center will be open for tours throughout the event. Come and check out their new synthetic ice rink, shooting lanes, agility training area and weight training center.
The Top Shelf Bar & Grill will be open throughout the event and the beer will be flowing! A special menu will be featured during the event along with free popcorn for everyone!
*Pro tip - We hope you take advantage of our free skate rental that day! If you do, don't forget to wear/bring socks!
